How is it the last week of July already? Not to worry–we’ve still got lots of great programs happening this week, including something VERY special on August 1st. Read on to find out more:
Monday, July 29 – “Olympic Games Drop In” – 10:30-11:30am, All ages – *Please dress for the weather and bring along some water! This event will take place outside.
Monday, July 29 – “Alien Art Drop In” – 1:30-3:30pm, All ages
Tuesday, July 30 – “Toddler Time” – 10:30am, Ages 1-3. No registration.
Tuesday, July 30 – “Museum Tour” – 1:30-2:30, ages 7-11. Please meet us at the Carleton Place and Beckwith Museum located at 267 Edmund Street for a fun look at this summer’s special exhibit about Carleton Place in the 1920’s. Parents, please plan on staying with your child, or being at the museum exactly at 2:30pm for pickup as we will not be able to transport any children back to the library and will not be able to stay on-site very long.
Wednesday, July 31 – “Storytime” – 10am – Ages 2-5. No registration.

Thursday, August 1 – “DIY Frisbee Drop In ” – 10:30-11:30am, All Ages
Thursday, August 1 – “Mad Hatter Alice in Wonderland Drop In” – 1:30-3:30pm, All Ages. We’re pleased to be partnering with the BIA and Downtown Carleton Place as part of their “August in Wonderland in Carleton Place”. Drop in to make a special Mad Hatter hat and win a prize! There will be extra special activities all afternoon–plan on being here on time!
Friday, August 2 – “Storytime in the Museum Gardens” – 10am, Ages 2-5. We’re meeting again this morning in the Carleton Place and Beckwith Museum gardens for a fun storytime session. You’ll find the museum at 267 Edmund Street.
Friday, August 2 – “Lego Drop In” – 1:30-3:30pm, All Ages. No registration.
