Canada Day library closures

We’re getting ready for a long weekend at the Carleton Place Public Library. The library will be closed Saturday, July 1st to celebrate Canada’s birthday, as well as Sunday, July 2nd and Monday, July 3rd. Please feel free to stop in before the long weekend to get new books, DVDs, puzzles for the cottage and more.

Don’t forget–you can access our library catalog even when we’re closed. Start placing holds on items you’d like to pick up next week or make a list of books for your TBR pile. You can also download one of our great library apps–Libby or Hoopla–and use your library card and PIN to get started. You’ll have 24/7 access to great books, movies, music and magazines–and once you download them, you can access them without Wifi! That means you’ll have something to read and watch at the cottage!

We’re excited to kick off a summer’s worth of fantastic programming starting Tuesday, July 4th at 10:30am. See you next week!

Happy Canada Day to all our library friends and family!
