The Carleton Place Public Library will be closed on Monday, September 4, 2023 for Labour Day weekend. We will be open on Saturday, September 2nd from 10:00am – 5:30pm so please plan on stopping in if you need any last minute items before we close.
Any items due back can be returned inside the library during our open hours, or into the blue return box on the front steps of the library after hours. And if you haven’t heard–we’ve gone fine-free so you won’t be charged for any overdue items (museum passes and interlibrary loans are the exceptions). It’s just another way we’re trying to help keep your costs down and make the library inclusive and accessible for everyone.
Most of our new fall programs will begin the week of September 11, 2023 to give everyone a chance to hop back into new work and school schedules, so please download our September calendar to find out what’s happening so that you don’t miss a thing. You can also pick up a copy at the library when you’re in. We’re excited about lots of new activities happening this fall!
