The Carleton Place Public Library will be closed on Monday, August 5, 2024, for the Civic Holiday weekend, but we want everyone to know they can still enjoy the library even when the doors may be closed.
Our website has lots of great digital resources like language software and information about driving tests, and you can access the catalog to place holds on current or upcoming titles even when we’re closed. All you need is your library card and PIN. Don’t forget the wonderful apps we have available as well with your library card such as Libby and Hoopla for eBooks and Audiobooks, magazines, music and more.
We also have lots of free puzzles for the taking at the library if you’re looking for a fun way to spend the evenings at the cottage. They don’t have to be returned and there are many sizes and varieties to choose from. You don’t even need a library card–just stop in and take what you want!
Our regular summer programs will resume on Tuesday, August 6th with lots to do for all ages. You can find our calendar on this page under Programs and Events.
